Bunny Girl
Lyrics by Nomake Wan

She was a girl
He was a boy
Could these lines be any more obvious?
She was a flirt
He loved Anime
What more's there to say?
She wanted him
He thought he loved her
He wasn't sure what his true feelings were
But all of his friends
Made known all their fears
And they didn't like her pair of rabbit ears…
She was a bunny girl
And he took her for a whirl
Things began to look up for them
But even with all that grace
Their link fell right on its face
And that was the end for that rare gem…
One year from then
He's all alone
Nobody visiting him at his home

The Greatest Mistakes
Lyrics by Nomake Wan
Music by Green Day
I lead a lonely life
It's filled with tribulations and of strife
Want it all to end
But I don't wanna trouble all my friends
I have a void in me
But it won't seal; instead it simply bleeds
Stabs me in my sleep
So all I see are the same lonely dreams
And I'm so alone, I'm so alone...
Leave me alone, just leave me...

Shiro's Journalistic Patterns
Patterns of journaling? Daily journals are a source of release, a place to vent thoughts. This design of "thought guidance" through quotes and other types of prompts allows one to focus his or her creative energies on a task, writing creatively at will towards accomplishing the goal of understanding and elaboration. Some are not able to cope with this idea of guided thought and instead write whatever they want instead of the task given. Others simply cannot understand the prompts and instead run with their own interpretations. This second group of people are at a higher level since they expend extra effort despite frequent complaint to write
Flight to the Ford
Travel, then suddenly, chaos!
The Travelers were ambushed.
Swords clashed, men fell,
The forest wept with sagging,
Dying trees.
But they could not be stopped,
Shoving onward to escape their assailants,
Heading for their destination.
No one had told them that their fallen comrades
Had already arrived there…

I tire yet get no sleep
Forevermore thinking too deep
If I lay myself down to bed
Never rising again, my head

The effect everlasting
That is causality

That Horrible Goodbye
Fed up with this destiny
In a place with nowhere to turn
I think I'll light the candle's wick
And slowly watch it burn
Doesn't really matter,
How this love goes by
Because I still think of you and I
And our horrible goodbye
Staggered through my empty house,
Laughing all the way
That night had made a mess of me,
Our confessions left me cold
I just really miss you,
And I need to know
Do you ever think of you and I
And that horrible goodbye?
When I see you now,
I wonder how
I could have let you go away
If I let us down,
Please, forgive me now
For that horrible goodbye
In these days full of regrets

Hear the Music
Do you remember
That night that we were
Away
And how the music played?
Everyone was listening
And we were all sitting
Aside
Hearing the serenade
The moments that lasted
Through the night
Kept our minds simple
And occupied
But soon it was over
The guitars were put
Away
And no more music played
We sat there beside us
Like nothing could get
Us down
That's when your dad had said...
Oh, why couldn't some song
Have issued forth?
Our bodies suddenly
Lost all their warmth

There's nothing to be done

Archie Smith, Boy Wonder
A tiny voice asked, "Is he the one?"
----------------------------
"Good night, mom!" Archie called as he trampled up the wooden staircase. One he was out of sight behind the banister of the upstairs hallway, he imagined that he was floating into his bedroom rather than taking childish steps towards it. He was always doing these silly things; a flight here, a waterfall there… Archie's imagination was boundless. But even the greatest of creative minds required sleep, which founded the backdrop of Archie's transient fall upon his bed. Sparkling blue eyes were peacefully covered, and at once the boy's imagination went

where I was, besides the fact that it was Tokyo, Japan. After so many years I was finally back, but now I had no idea where exactly AX2028 was being hosted. I mean, I knew where it was, but not where it was in relation to where I was. Everywhere I walked, people glanced at me strangely. Think about it, if a forty-one-year-old American man suddenly appears in your homogenous society, you'd give him strange looks, too.
The stares ignored, I continued to walk along the streets of Japan's capital city. Surrounding me were old neon signs, holographic advertisements hanging in midair, streamlined vehicles of all kinds, and incredibly tall buildin
Catcher in the Rye, Chapter 4: Jane Gallagher
"Where the heck is that guy Stradlater?" I said out loud to the lobby, having developed a nervous habit of talking to myself (or in this case, no one) a few years ago. The lobby was simple enough; one elevator, one set two sets of stairs, and random "inspirational" art on the walls to try to make the place look a bit less bland. Without the art, it was just a big gray hall. And it was in this dismal place that I was supposed to meet my date.
A few male students walked past me to the stairs, giving me that same look that so many other guys gave me. You know, that one where you can tell that the

About me. About her.

I can't believe that I have to do this! I would much rather be flying than sitting in a room filled with delinquents trying to get something through their brains. But it doesn't matter now; I'm already Mrs. MacLeod's substitute. After writing my name on the board in big letters (RICHARD HUNTER), I stood in the front of the empty classroom and sighed. I hated my full name and would probably end up telling the kids to call me Rick instead anyway. I hated to teach too unless it was something about flying planes. Boy, could I teach for hours about that. Maybe I would, if there is some way to work it into these ma
Summer's End
The summer ended. A young boy strode the corridors of the unfamiliar place, greeted by other children and adults. As the day passed, new words filled the child's head. He was happy. As the suns flew by, thoughts of joyful play became methodical operations as more vernacular was poured into the boy's ears. On one day, a looming elder made the boy forever saddened with slashing sounds. Summer began again.
The summer ended. A wise teenage boy wandered the large unknown of a new institution. Here he was lost, and was forced to dash from one specific chamber to another like the petroleum in the sleek metal boxes that flew across E

== DAY TWO ==
And we're already on day two! Lots more has happened, so I'll fill y'all in.
Last night I did manage to make it onto Interstate 70 (and put over 100 miles on the tank of gas we got at the last blog entry), but as soon as we hit it I pulled into a rest area and promptly fell asleep in the driver's seat. Woke up some time around 6 AM and groggily started the car, heading back out onto the road. Dad wanted breakfast and I wanted to keep driving until the gas ran out, so we comprimised and decided to get him some coffee to hold him over. I missed an exit with a McDonalds, so we continued to look for exits with coffee places. He re
And already, we're at part 2. I'll break down what's happened so far, as well as show off some new photos (higher res this time).
First of all, it turns out that my dad left his iPod at home, which made him an unhappy dude. But he had a revelation--I had a laptop, internet, and an iPod connector. So I went and downloaded six hours' worth of Grateful Dead concerts for him. He's a much happier driver now that he has some Dead he can cruise along with. I also managed to watch the latest episodes of Nanoha StrikerS and Idolmster (https://www.deviantart.com/ster) Xenoglossia on the way, which was an added bonus.
Sadly, things were not perfect. We planned to meet up with a local
